Not sure if it's paranoia or not, but I grilled a big
batch of 80/20 hamburgers on Friday night, and then did my
first pizza last night without touching the coalbed. I could've sworn that my pizza had a 'burgery' taste to it.[p]Is that just my imagination, or can drippings-laden coal
atually alter the taste of your next cook(s)?[p]Thanks,[p]Kurt

MadSapper, Why yes, yes it can. After a greasy cook let the fire burn till no smoke appears before adding wood or food. Works for me.

MadSapper,[p]You bet it can, especially since cheese is so flavor sensitive. Good thing you didn't grill some salmon then follow with a pizza. Although mmmmmmmm... I do like pizza with fresh clams, lightly sauteed, as a topping.[p]~thirdeye~
