A sweet weekend

The Gods of weekend were smiling down upon me and provided a perfect couple days of warm, sunny and comfortable.[p]Friday - fajitas over mesquite lump. Saturday - an early viewing of "Perfect Storm" (good flick) and then pepper crusted salmon from the Jean-Claude Brehier cookbook. It was pan seared and finished on the Egg, served with garlic cous-cous and baby peas. Sunday - 18 holes and then Cat's sensational baby back rib rub (juniper berry/chipotle paste) applied this time to 1.5" thick boneless pork loin chops and smoked using apple/cherry chips.[p]The Tribe sweeps Seattle and still has a shot at post season. Finally, RhumAndJerk asks me to babysit his mini Egg for a couple of weeks while he is away on assignment on the West Coast hehehe.[p]Life is good.[p]K~G
