Pork shoulder timing
Bubblehead
Posts: 16
Hi, I'm trying to plan my weekend which includes a 7lb pork shoulder. I thought about starting it tomorrow night but I'm afraid it will be done too early. So I think I'll get up early on Sunday and start but now I'm afraid it will take too long. Any advice? I'm thinking 1 1/2 hrs a lb so if I start by 8 I can eat around 8.[p]Awhogah!

Bubblehead,[p]I would plan on between 15-20 hours if you want pulled pork.

Bubblehead,[p]Go with Bob's recommendation. If it's done early you can wrap it in heavy-duty foil and some warm towels, and put it in a cooler; it will stay hot for hours.[p]Cathy
