I tried the BGE PIT CREW's method for cooking prime rib over Christmas. I have to say it was so simple, and by far the best prime rib I've ever eaten. My guests felt the same way.
Thanks PIT CREW.

big hound,
Where can I find the recipe?
-
this was the recipe they posted: Cover with worcestershire, rub with kosher salt/black pepper/dried tyme/dried or fresh rosemary/dried oregano/garlic powder/onion powder. Egg direct or inderect (your choice) with drip-pan. Internal temp of 130 is rare, 140 is "rare-plus", even higher is ok, but don't over cook.[p]When I took it off, the sides weren't seared so it didn't have the dark brown look, but frankly, after eating it, it didn't matter.
