Buffalo Steak

Hello Everyone,
I have been lurking for a while, but now am in need of some advice. Has anyone ever cooked buffalo? I was in a new meat market in a neighboring town looking for some steaks and they had buffalo. The butcher cut me two nice ribeyes about 1.5" thick. Can I do these like regular ribeyes? Marinade? Rub? We never cook our steaks past medium rare, can we do this with buffalo? I have only ever eaten ground buffalo at Ted's Montana Grill.
