Tailgaters special advice
Car Wash Mike
Posts: 11,244
As the football season is upon us. I go to a large number of NFL and college games. Has anyone taken their BGE to a tailgate party and how did it work out. Really needs specs on cool down time. I have a large BGE. Loading and unloading won't be a problem since my company cargo van has a Tommy Lift. Also, has anybody tried a small BGE at a game.[p]Thanks in advance,[p]CWM

Car Wash Mike,
Now you are in Cornfed's expertise area. He does it at all the Jets home games.

Car Wash Mike,
I tailgated with my small egg at a redskins game last year. I cooked chicken pieces, then tri-tip steaks.
90 minutes later the egg was in the back of my friend's Ford Explorer. The key was to put just enough lump in, that it is all burned off. Leave it open and it cools fairly quickly.
Have Fun...I am geared up about football and the Skins this year.
Cheers
NB
