Learning about Mini Egg

Just did my first 'real' cook on the new Mini with the trimmings (end cuts good sized) from a 12lb. pork loin.
Quite moist and tasty...as Eggspected
When I was all done I cut in the after-burners to see what the little fella could do and I was pleasantly surprised to see the temp reach 750* with out straining. Could have gone a little more I'm sure but the little woman wanted Egg time for some swordfish she got.
Observation for those who are interested. The grill is just big enough for two nice pork chops not quite big enough for three. I can't wait to try a sear and rest on a chunk 'o' cow. If I had had my choice (Mini was a gift) I would have gotten the small Egg I think there's just that much more space to cook for two with veggies etc on board. I love the little fella and am making plans to get a Small Egg to add to my collection ... some day.
Have a good week and keep your lump dry[p]Carey
