Grilled quail and boiled quail egg were the feast this evening. These "farm raised" birds are larger than what I am used to . . . More than two bites on these birds. Very tasty, even little "Z" approved. Brings back memories of a country uncle that used to raise them for family "quail fests".[p]Seasoned with Lawry's and grilled at 425º. The trick to grilling this delicate foul is to be aware of the hot spots and open the dome sparingly.
