Max and Whiz,
Max, just want to say thanks for taking the time to make your great turkey recipe available to the masses and for opening up the hot line while you yourself were busy with your own turkey day preps. I used your method for the second year in a row, and I think this year's turned out better than last. The only alterations I made were to first brine for two days using the John Ash brine posted by Julie Appledog, and I embellished the stock by adding a few more turkey wings which were browned off first (more flavor bits).[p]Whiz, Thanks for making this recipe available on your web site. Another great item for your already complete egg compendium.[p]Basting the beast:[p]PB230720.jpg[p]The finished product. Notice Max's directions in the background:

  • bobbyb,
What a great bird! I would also like to extend my thanks to Max and the Whiz for giving of their time and effort. My bird was great too and I found myself going to the website to check and recheck stuff.. The only thing better than the food the BGE creates is the help you find right here![p]Uncle Phil
