Mad Max Was A Huge Success!

This is probably one of many Mad Max success stories but wanted to share what went down at my house. The turkey was excellent but the gravy...WOW![p]My mother has been making the same gravy for Thanksgiving that her mother taught her to make many many years ago. When she arrived she was shocked to learn we were having a different gravy this year. After several comments about not having our "traditional" gravy I told her to go ahead and make it in case mine (Mad Max style) was a flop since I had never made it before. Well both styles were finished about the same time and once everyone stuck their fingers in them we knew which was the best. She also knew she was defeated. I even caught her spooning some of my gravy into hers to try to kick it up. Needless to say when dinner was over her bowl was untouched and Mad Max's gravy was gone. It is going to take her a while to get over this one. She talked about it all night about how it looks like we are out with the old and in with the new.
