How to light with Newspaper
How can I best start up the egg with newspaper? I've always used firestarters, but I am out. Help![p]

I had to do this the one time my torch ran outta fuel. What I did was to clean out the ash under the fire grate and then shove in 3 to 4 crumpled up sheets of newpaper and lit it. I had a fresh load of lump in and it caught pretty quickly.[p]

I wouldnt use paper in the Egg, borrow a mapp or propane torch or use a chimney starter to light the lump.

What's wrong with using newspaper underneat? It works quite well and is very simple!
