Looking For Turkey Advice

I'm a new egg owner and i'll be cooking a turkey on my egg tomorrow for the first time. I don't have a V-Rack or a anything to prop the turkey up with. Is it necessary to keep the bird off the grates or can I just lay it on the grates and use indirect heat to cook it?

I have a large egg and a small/medium sized bird.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks & Happy Thanksgiving
