I am replacing the felt liner with something a litle more robust, like Rutland's graphite impregnated fiberglass gasket. Can anyone tell me how thick the walls of the large BGE are? I want to order a gasket today, but I am about 20 miles from my egg and can't look at the moment.

Jimbo, get the 5/8 width flat type. If its not already self adhesive, get the high temp silly cone for it also :-)
BTW..where are you ordering if from..they only sell to dealers and distributors...??
