<p />Today using the carcass of an 8+# turkey breast I egged last Sunday I made a pot of JSlot Mother's clear turkey soup. When all said and done you strain everthing out of it. I substitute V-8 juice so mine probably is more reddish than her recipe and tweak it to my taste, but is it so gooood and rich! Yield was 8 cups which I will pour into a pan, freeze and then cut into blocks and seal with my Food Saver like this pix of a byegone batch. I prefer blocks so that they will stack in the freezer.[p]So folks, with T-Day coming up keep this recipe in mind when you get near the end of that bird. It makes a delightful tasting rib warmer!
