Egged peanut butter cookies

Several people asked for the recipe for the peanut butter cookies I made! Here is what I did![p]INGREDIENTS:[p]1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 egg
3/4 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/4 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
PREPARATION:[p]Cream sugars, butter or margarine, and peanut butter. Beat in egg, then stir in remaining ingredients. Shape dough into a small balls. I prepared 7 dozed the night before, but these will last in the freezer for several months.
Preheat egg to about 425° (with plate setter and pizza stone. I also used Reynolds "Release" foil on pizza stone). When ready to bake, flatten balls with a fork to make ridges down the center. (Dipping fork tines in flour will help prevent sticking). [p]Bake at 425° for about 10-12 minutes. (Bake for a little less time for chewier cookies.) When finished, cookies will be soft and need to cool for a few minutes! Makes about 2 dozen peanut butter cookies.

Smokey,
Another tip for those would be to use powdered sugar instead of flour to keep the tines from sticking.[p]A very old baker's tip but still a good one.[p]Your cookies rock btw!!!
