Sorry I can't remember who posted the idea first, but if you like blue cheese and burgers, you've GOT to try the onion burger technique with blue cheese tucked in under the onion and Dizzy Pig Cowlick (or your favorite beef rub) sprinkled on top. Made 'em tonight, and it's the greatest thing since... well, since I last tried something new on the Egg, I suppose. Sure is hard to decide what the best thing ever is when nearly everything from the Egg is so good (last week it was the meat loaf). Thanks to all for sharing your great ideas. This one is a real winner!

Basscat, Car Wash Mike made them popular here. Here's my version. [p]Vidalia Onions buried into a Ground Chuck Burger, grilled onion side down first.[p][p]Flipped over and put some Chunky Blue Cheese dressing into the indent.[p][p]Let them cook a little longer and then topped with American Cheese. Deelishous and the Brats were good, too [p]

Those onion burgers look great I have been trying to find the recipe or instructions. does anyone have a hint were to look for it.
