Recipe problem

Have any of you successfully made the "Mrs. Basso's Light Rolls" from Dr BBQ's cookbook? I've had no success. Even after rising for an hour the dough is so wet that you couldn't possibly form balls to put on a cookie sheet. Maybe there's an error in the cookbook on the amount of flour that goes into the recipe or something.
