My New BGE Did Me Proud

Morning everyone,
I promised I'd have some pictures of the shoulder, pork butt and ribs to show off, but as the family and guests started arriving early yesterday, and I was busy getting everything ready, I forgot to get the pictures before everything was just about gone. Anyway, the butt and shoulder were fantastic, they came off the BGE at 6 am, 19 hours and they were perfect. On the shoulder, just a twist of the shank bone and out it came. They had a wonderful bark on them and needless to say, I don't even have any left for sammiches today. Also, I applied Cat's rib recipe to 6 racks of St. Louis style ribs, simply mouth watering, cooked them at 250 in the rib rack for 4.5 hours. Best ribs I've ever eaten. All in all, a huge success with baked BBQ beans and Cole Slaw being the only left overs we had. Thanks everyone for your help and encouragement.[p]Now, I have a 9 lb pork butt in the freezer, well, I just took it out to thaw and its going on Mr. Humpty tonight for ME. Gotta keep some of that pulled pork at all times. [p]I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe 4th of July.[p]Thanks again,
John
