Mad Max Prime Rib questions
Mad Max and other local NOVA folks (I located in Chantilly VA). I have been tasks to cook for Father-inlaws 65th Birthday Party. I have decided to do Prime Rib, and there wiill be 10-12 adults. I was planning on using bone-in, ? what size, 5 or 7 bone? Has anyone bought a Rib Roast from Giant? If so how was it? Costco only carries boneless ones, any other local places? Not sure if I will have time for a trip to Union Meats, anywhere closure to get good quaility Rib Roasts?[p]Anyway I was planning on using Mad Max's method below. About how long will this take if I do around a 5 to 7 bone if I follow instructions below?[p]Any other tips and Words of Wisdom will be much apprectiated.[p][p]
