I'm fairly new to cooking with the BGE but the quality of my BBQ is miles ahead of what I did with other charcoal grills; and it's so much easier.[p]Also, I just got the BBG Guru Competitor with 10 CFM fan for my large egg. Fred at BBQ Guru quickly responded to email questions, and I got my unit within 2 days of ordering! I used it this weekend to do beer butt chicken, leg of lamb, and (for the first time) brisket. Everything cooked without a hitch and tasted great. I'm really satisfied.[p]Thanks DR BBQ for the short cut brisket recipe. The meat was VERY juicy and tender and I even got a round of applause at dinner!
This is a great website and I appreciate all the hints and photos that folks post.
