This weekend's Egg festivities will include a tri tip roast. This is only the second one I've ever done. The first was cooked traditional Santa Maria style with simply salt, pepper, garlic powder and red oak.[p]I'd like to solicit an alternate recipe with more panache from you creative forum folks.[p]Thanx in advance[p]K~G

KennyG,
Sorta figure you must've seen this recipe. It is awesome, and it is what popped into my head when I read your question. [p]Happy 4th

KennyG,[p] I love tri-tip! Did two of them earlier this week. One coated heavily with lemon pepper and a little garlic salt (got that idea from one of these boards) and the other coated with mustard and Willy's Number One-derful rub. Both excellent. It also is good with a teriaki marinade. These other ideas sound good to. I'll have to try them.
