Almost glucose friendly 250th July 4th

Being a diabetic presents certain food consumption challenges. I wanted to accommodate both health and an All American meal on this 4th of July.
The pork butt naturally fit except for the glaze.
Made my version of broccoli slaw which also basically fit the heath requirement.
Baked beans were a challenge. I went for a version of keto Dr Pepper flavored with black beans.
The most work centered around a keto key lime pie. Made the crust out of almond flour.
Had to make a sugar free sweetened condensed milk for the main filling.
Next made a sugar free whipped cream. The finished product was very good and satisfied the dessert craving.
Below are pictures that document the celebration at my house.
The Bicentennial decanter  of Brandy was purchased by my wife in 1976 at the Navy package store while I was stationed at NAS Memphis.
It survived 8 moves since then. The goal was to never open it. However, it did not survive teenagers in the early nineties with regard to seal breaking. The ring leader went on to be a Marine so he is forgiven. I had a drink and it was ok.
The tractor is a 1952 8N and due to the Ford N series being a major factor in moving the small farmer forward it was honored as well. The US flag was flown proudly on my son’s 1980 Bronco for months starting on 9-1-2001.
The other flag will be recognized by many crazy posters on here if they look closely.
The first photos show the final product, the next group the ingredients, and then the festivities pics.
Sorry for the long post but being retired I have plenty spare time.
Hope everyone had a fantastic 250 celebration!

Not trying to bump my own thread, but I must correct a big error. I proofread this many times prior to posting and missed this.

The US flag on the 8N was placed on the 80 bronco on 9-11-2001 not 9-1-2001.
I probably should be banned for that mistake!

Yes, you should be banned.  I would ban you but my application for receiving a ban hammer must not have crossed the buffalo's desk yet.   ;)  Happy Independence day.  I really like that 8N!
