Nashville Hot weiners

Sam the Cooking Guy™ did this about a month ago, wanted to try it.  Grilled a couple Hebrew Nationals lightly, then rolled them around in the sauce used for Nashville Hot Chicken:

Spread buns with the "Comeback" sauce, and topped with the weiners.  Sam used white bread and also added coleslaw, and as is normal for him couldn't eat it very neatly; I served the slaw as a side, but then added some slaw to the second bun as it held together so much better.

Slashing the weiner vs not slashing was sixes: the uncut dog had that satisfying "pop" as I bit into it, but the slashed dog held onto more of the Nashville hot oil.  These were tasty, but with both the Nashville oil and the Comeback sauce, almost too much going on.  TFL.
