Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

A very fun read. I've loved SD Kochen, love the gas station pizza at Iowa's Casey's but haven't had their breakfast pie, NY bagels, NM Huevos Rancheros, UT scones; I would've given Chicken-Fried Steak to Texas, but of course my personal data set is limited and quite old anymore. And the absolutely best on-the-go breakfast when you're driving up the mountain for a day of skiing, at least in the past, was the McDonald's Sausage Biscuit, with a packet of mustard and greazy hashbrown cakes. Sadly, they've changed the recipe for their biscuits and it ain't the same anymore... (I can't ski anymore, so there's that).
Would like to pose a related question. I don't go out for breakfast much anymore since retiring, but the last three times were all disasters, it seems the local places just can't get/keep help; standing in a 6-party-deep line at Denny's to pay your bill, and then when you're next the cashier dashes off to deliver 5 parties of breakfasts since they're getting cold, and it takes you 40 minutes to get out. I'm probably not going out for breakfast anymore.

@Botch Don’t give up on breakfast because Denny’s is… a Denny’s.Give Jeremiah’s or the Bickering Sisters a try.
