    Mobile iOS here - intermittent issue.  Find it happen more often when I hit back button instead of reselecting the main page.  Probably some cookie setting or something to save data usage on mobile pages.

    I now just click the BIGGREENEGG banner at top of the thread.  Brings me back to main page and it’s usually refreshed.

    There is a significant overlap between the smartest bears and the dumbest humans - Park Ranger designing bear proof trash cans.

    Oddly, I have the opposite issue: new threads that I've never looked at are displaying as "read"; once I click on them once they then display normally (this has been happening for a couple months now).  
    And this is MacOS, not iOS.  

    A little party never killed nobody.

    i am seeing some show as read even though they that have posts i haven’t read (logged out or in). mobile ios safari private browsing. maybe some type of post index is broken.

    there was a time where it seems like it marked items read without logging in.  maybe some session tracking or config options changing or in various states of repair.
