looking for a T-track lock

We are using T-track to attach some tablets to the wall. The tables slide in from one side and we need a locking mechanism to stop them from being slid out at 2am by a bad person.

anyone have any ideas of how to put a lock on a piece of track like this?

The woodworking catalogs are full of different T-track stops, but their handles/clamps etc won't be compatible with your situation.
If you're a precision-type guy, buy a ww T-track stop, measure the threads, then find a 1/4" (or whatever mm) Allen setscrew to fit, and tighten it into the right location.
If you're a "whatever"-type guy (like me), buy some self-adhesive silicone or cork "feet", and stick one to the bottom of the track (dab some epoxy around it if it looks questionable).  Or, if you're really lazy, just wad up a stop of freshly-chewed bubblegum, and give it a few days to harden.

unfortunately Botch, this is in a public "needs to look good" place otherwise I'd just mangle the track. And we need to remove for maintenance, otherwise I'd just mangle the track.

normally its just a flt bar with a bolt hole that slides in the slot thats screwed down to the tslot with an allen button head bolt. not alot of drunks carrying allen wrench tools at 2am. theres those uni directional screws they put in public bathroom stalls that would work as well

I like how you're thinking, but we used security screws when mounting video cameras in the meeting rooms. The bits kept breaking on us. truly annoying, so the building manager "prefers us not to use them".

Something like this?  That 2 am person may figure out how to flip the lock.
