I'm looking for a table that will fit just a minimax BGE or a table that will fit a large and mini BGE.  Does anyone have any recommendations?

Since no one else has posted a POSSIBLE answer...Are you handy with tools? It's pretty easy to make a nice wooden one that should last you for years - mine is 25 years old and still performing quite well! In my case I made mine so the Large and the Small (same diameter as a M/M but taller). Only trick is to account for the height of your metal stand when you are figuring how high you want your 2 eggs to protrude above the table top. And of course your M/M needs to sit on a taller shelf underneath. If building is a possibility then I might be able to find TNW table link.

If you have a chunk of time scroll thru this link for many ideas plus ones you can simply buy if making such a table  isn't a possibility'

  • Your title reads “minimax” whereas your post describes a “large” and a “mini”.

Not sure what you’re building for, but as @rrp points out, a wooden table likely fits the bill. I have one for a Large and MiniMax, and I love the setup.

if (and that's if) I was building a wooden table for an egg, I'd have cut the "egg hole" an extra couple of inches bigger and mount a metal ring inside the egg hole with spacers to keep an air gap between the wood and the egg. Too many pictures of scorched/burnt tables out there for my comfort level, but while I see a lot of talk about stones, nests, and gaps beneath the egg but don't see as much talk about keeping the hot egg from burning the table top.

here is a rough sketch of a top view

so 6 lag bolts through the ring and into the wood edges with washers to keep the ring spaced from the wood. the air gap will be good insulation.

    just a thought.

  • that’s a wild pic!  agree that most reports are for the egg base area.

over 15 years in my cypress table so i don’t think the metal air insulator approach is necessary, but 1/2” - 1” gap for top shelf will do.

full disclosure, not my pic, but I'll take the warning it offers.
