Reverse sear Tomahawk
Paolo
Posts: 187
The crew was back from vacations today so it was a good occasion to be cooking.
Reverse seared Tomahawk (raised indirect at 200 F until 115 F at the core, than very short direct sear on cast iron at approximately 600 F )

Freshly baked bread

Wife prefers fish, so I grilled some cuttlefish with lemon-pepper rub

The dog has his share of fun

Final relax with a few drops of this, and a piece of dark chocolate

Spectacular across the board. That steak finish and crust photos are definitely magazine quality. He!! of a cook.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

This is my perfect evening. Steak, fresh bread, a dog and a glass of bourbon. You crushed the steak and the fish also looks delicious.XL BGE

Thanks everbody for the comments!
@GrateEggspectations, bourbon is easily available here, this one comes from the shelf of a groceries store with a well furnished wine and spirits section.
Of course we don't have the fantastic variety you have and "grappa" is much more popular.
I like to choose a product in order to feel a connection to the territory it comes from. BGE is one of those products!
