Extreme yard makeover
Was gonna post this in "I'm not sure where to post this", but think it deserves its own thread.
First, quick personal history: between age 13-15 I worked for a tree nursery/landscape company, and did a couple landscaping jobs, as a laborer (both just single boulevard projects). Fast-forward 35 years or so and I ended up, for one winter, watching a program "Yard Crashers" (?) where they did massive backyard landscaping in one day. I stupidly attended a local "Home Show" that spring, just as my old wooden deck/pergola collapsed from snow load. $20K+ later, I had a nice Trex deck, vinyl pergola, leading to a stone patio, with two stone benches, gas firepit and a waterfall feature that the magpies like to drop small rocks into. 'spensive but I still like it.
Anywho, one of the furniture makers I follow (Bourbon Moth) has been pretty successful on EweTube, and his two properties are easily 20 times worth my whole property, good on him.

This video may not be of interest to too many here, but the amount of labor, material, and dollars that went into this was fascinating to me. It's not completely finished yet but I'll post his followup video when it is.
