Oh, and I've made my shopping list for the ingredients.

Not pretty, but oh so good! This was my first attempt at a turtle cheesecake using a Fat DaddyO 6x3 cake pan with removable bottom. I followed Twin Cities Adventure’s recipe using fudge covered Oreo’s for the crust. The cheesecake itself was wonderful but separated from the crust during removal. Besides that my homemade caramel reverted to its very liquid form during removal making a real mess as you can see. Just the same I was undaunted and went ahead and purchased an
InstaPot and a smaller food processor to tackle this recipe again! And next time I’ll use Kraft caramels!

Looks be damned, @RRP
Turtle cheesecake sounds like a go!
I'm yet to try sweets/desserts in the IP. May try this some time.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -

Mine is the 8 Qt Viva, there really isn't that much difference in the size of the pans. I have made a lot in the 6x3 , just got the 7x3 made a Strawberry Cheesecake using ghee in the crust instead of melted butter . Gave it to a friend warning that the crust may not be right ( I used the ghee cause I couldn't find my butter ) she said it was wonderful !
So Ron I guess its all in personal preference, I use the Instapot for chili, chicken and dumplings, roasts. You may be fine with the 6 qt.
Spray your pan well with cooking spray so the cheesecake releases a little easier . I always use parchment paper in the bottom. Enjoy ,If you have any questions feel free to message me !Ova B.

To my Missouri buddy @calracefan here is my second Turtle Cheesecake - this time with a different twist using Kraft carmels vs. homemade carmels (homemade is better by far!) and regular Oreos for a crust vs. the fudge covered Oreos. And this time some Hershey chocolate syrup dots and dashes on top. Now In the frig for the mandatory overnight cool down /set up. I can't wait!!!

Whoa. I want to make that just for the presentation alone. That pic says "Eat me!", in the best way.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.

I just had a cream cheese pie at a local restaurant. It was excellent, much like cheesecake but a bit lighter. There are a number of recipes out there and at least some of them are pretty easy. FYI.Somewhere on the Colorado Front Range
