Smarter scrubber podcast

Just listened to an podcast about a grill brush/ scrubber that was 100% made and sourced in America (and is wire bristle free!)

Pretty interesting story about how challenging it is to make things in America these days.

I want to buy one - if for no other reason the guy's enthusiasm is simply infectious and I like that kind of spin! The only thing that is holding me back is that I don't see, nor understand how it can really flex to clean off a grate. I saw the small corners at the end of the handle to clean each individual "rod" the same way as a "Billy Bar" does, but without a flexible chain then it will only do a top scraping. Am I missing something?

I bought one of these last summer; it is definitely well-built/heavy.

Ordered or brick and mortar? If I can buy it locally, for a reasonable price, I might be interested.

So does the pad flex somehow so as to clean the grate rods essentially 180 degrees?

Okay I ordered one. Being able to detach the scrubber and use it on my cast iron was the selling point.

Sorry, I didn't really finish my post, did I?  No, it doesn't really flex at all, you have to use the sides of the pad to clean the sides of the bars in a SS grate.  It worked fantastic on my CI grates but I've kinda given up on them, just use the SS grates now.  I still use this "smart scrubber" on my SS grates, but for a really thorough cleaning the billy bar still works better.

Kinda like my paddle board grate cleaner I used for several years - or I guess I should say I used up after a few years. I'd just cut off the used end and start over again. At least I didn't swallow any splinters! But by then I bought a Billy Bar and then was gifted another one from Billy himself.

I use my LAWNRANGER tool for 10% and the start up fire for 90%.
