I have been out of the Egg Game for a few years. Broke down and bought a new XL last week! Man why did I give my son my egg and sell the other one? I cant believe how much I have missed it! Many many cooks and pics to follow and a remake of my Paella and a new table !!

Not being a smart *ss here, but I'd think that of bedding tinder could catch on fire from a random spark sent out even with that spark screen in place. Sign me Worry Wart Ron, but fires have been started with less bedding than that and being that close to your home besides.

Good point. It has been wet here. I am building a deck in this spot for my grills. This is her temporary home. I will head the advice and move from the straw!

but the context I'm referring to is how many in your family do you regularly egg for? and how many people do you egg and entertain? I for instance could never justify an XL even if it was given to me, nor would I EVER give up my Small egg which is my go to egg for nearly 90% of my cooks nowadays! -
