Solution to local Walmart raising brisket price

In an earlier post I mentioned that my local 1 horse towns Walmart raised brisket price by 30 cents per # to 4.29 for select grade.  Lucky for me I have a daughter egghead that lives in KC metro and is a Costco member.  She found this brisket:IMHO . . . something is not right here . . . price gouging comes to mind

    @loco_engr - You know anyone in Texas?  Just last week I was in a HEB and as usual they had wagyu brisket at 7.99/lb.  (The permanent residents are definitely spoiled.)
    BTW- I'm surprised Wally World is offering select grade.  That's the stuff of burger meat and packaged corned beef.

    Haven't bought meat from Walmart since I got some horrible smelling wings. Corporate took it seriously enough and had the store manager reach out. They asked if I was refunded.
