The 2024 Eggtoberfest is in the books and it was a fun one. I believe it was the biggest one yet, and in CoolRay Field it rarely feels crowded. 

Live music was back, including Chris Sussman aka The BBQ Buddah and his band Jsanti and the Vital Groove on Friday night’s VIP event. For BGE’s 50th, the also “encouraged” all their distributors to come and cook and there were a whole bunch of Euro, South American BGE teams as well!

And……….we set the new Guinness World Record for the most chicken wings served! Previous record was 550 lbs and we came in at 665 lbs! A little behind the scenes…we prepped and cooked 960 lbs to get that 665. If I don’t see another chicken wings for the rest of my life, it won’t be too soon. BGE did donate 2/3 of those wings to a local ATL food bank and the rest went to the crowd.
