Short Ribs and Flat Iron Last Night

We had a late big brunch with friends, so small portions were in order for supper.  .4 lbs of flat iron and 1.3 lbs of beef ribs, all seasoned with just SPG.  The superb quality of Oak Barn Beef made up for the quantity . . .
Ribs on at 250ish with some oak chunks . . .
Added the Flat Iron pieces after about 2.5 hours . . .
Threw some coleslaw together, normally jalapenos would join in except my japs were destroyed a couple months back in a wind storm.  My habaneros survived, unfortunately Mrs. Cooper is not a fan.  They will be added to my serving . . .
Steaks were ready for a sear after about 30 min and the ribs were happy . . .
A small and simple meal, it hit the spot.  Note that my offer to split the 3rd rib was declined, so I got two of the three!
@lousubcap - This is my first flat iron from Hannah, she threw it in for free on one of my orders, offhand I don't recall why.  As noted, they were small pieces, both pieces total weight of .4 lb.  The flavor was great and it was very tender.  I'll be adding a full sized one to my next order.  I was sorry to read you've cut back on your OBB ordering, good that you've found comparative product locally though.
