I’m thinking 2008, can someone confirm or deny?

Ok. It’s apart now as I’m cleaning out. And refurbing replacing the band.
Couple of facts:
-maybe found the serial- 7687
-green egg logo on lid is recesses
-silver hardware on hinge w/ 1 spring
-small wood handle
-other #’s as seen in pics

I got my large the spring of 2008, it has 2 springs and no silver anywhere. Hope that helps.Owensboro, KY. First Eggin' 4/12/08. Large, small, 22" Blackstone and lotsa goodies.

My original large was purchased January 2008, also has 2 springs, small handle and no silver on the DFMT. For comparison, mine still has its original exterior parts, other than the thermometer:
LBGE - St. Louis, MO; MM & LBGE - around 8100' somewhere in the CO Front Range -
The vent looks older than 2008 to me.
