I’d be interested to hear what fellow eggheads living near any of these joints thought.

For me, the top tier cheeseburger was a homemade Jucy Lucy.  Until I made an OK-style  onion burger. Holy shite…  that was good. I highly recommend giving it a go.

I will have to wait until tomorrow to celebrate.  Wife brought in 3-lbs of 80/20 CAB tonight for me to egg tomorrow in my version of OK-style burgers.  I like to semi-smash them, then put the thin sliced onions on them then complete the smash thus embedding into the burger then fridge them until the egg is ready.  We like to flash freeze them then bag 'em up, it comes in handy.  The way to my woman's heart is thru her stomach  ;).  Oh, she also brought in 3 Vidalia onions to slice and use in them, almost the end of the season for them...get 'em while they're available.

Owensboro, KY.  First Eggin' 4/12/08.  Large, small, 22" Blackstone and lotsa goodies.
