Gasket help for Franken-Egg

Hello.  I have a really old small Egg that has a mismatched hinge.  Everything is great except the hinge holds the top where it touches the bottom in the front but has about a 1/8 inch or so gap at the back where the hinge is.  There is no adjustment available to make it match up.  My solution is to get another gasket to stick on top of the new gaskets but not sure how it will work to have two layers of new gaskets on both the top and bottom.  I hope I've described the situation correctly, but any advice would be appreciated.

There are spacers that help you align the lid/base/hinge. if you dont have them, maybe try a local BGE dealer. They might have extras.
