Table Refinishing Questions

Hi people, I’m refinishing what I believe to be an original BGE branded table(there is a small stamp in the corner of the top). So, I think it is teak, other than possibly the bottom shelf that could have been replaced at some point with pine? I say this because the fitment of the boards are slightly different, there are visible face nails in them, and they appear to be a slightly different color.

The table came to me with a worn varnish finish. I cleaned it, stripped it, and sanded it with 80 grit.

Should I oil it to finish it? Anyone recommend a product that will hold up to heat?

Also not sure how to prep in between the boards. They definitely got the stripping solution on them in the process, but I can’t see myself sanding all those crevices by hand. I did a rough sand to clean off the stripping material, and any loose finish. But should I stop there?

here are some progress pics.

Also, in terms of finishes. I know a lot of these are made out of acacia, even though I think this one is teak. Is there a “universal” oil/finish that can be used on teak, and other woods in case it isn’t teak?

I am making a table right now and I’m using epifanes varnish.  It is supposed to be good for outdoors with high UV protection.  If you don’t want a gloss finish you can do the final coat with a matte finish
