Time to get ready for the Georgia Mountain Fire & Smoke Cooking Festival in Hiawassee, GA on May 18th, 2024. This is a major cooking festival in the region that is taking the place of our GA Mountain Big Green Eggfest which we conducted for 10 amazing years. It will be bigger and better this year with the addition of 40 Primo XL Oval Ceramic Grills cooking alongside our Big Green Eggs.

We have 120 cooks/chefs lined up to provide generous samples of their “best-of-the-best” recipes. Take a break from all the great food and catch a show from the 2023 Dailey & Vincent band contest winner, Headin' Home, who will be performing at 10:30 AM, 12:00 and 1:30 PM.

Our very popular Meet & Greet celebration Friday evening (05/17) from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Georgia Mountain Fair's Main Exhibit Hall is not to be missed !! Just bring a dish to share, enjoy a libation, meet the cooks and listen to our live bluegrass band ! Beer and wine will be available for purchase. Due to limited parking at the Exhibit Hall we will have a shuttle running continuously from the main parking area to the Exhibit Hall.
