Just wondering if there's anything like that out there?

Checkout Thermoworks.com - they have a few data loggers that may meet your needs.

Thanks for the link. Their devices seem to need wifi or usb. I might have missed a Bluetooth one. None of them appear to be a stand-alone plotter, which is what I'd like to find. Thanks, though. I have an old Smoke and these do a lot more than that does.

Are you wanting a model that can display a data graph (plotting?) like this...

While it does have an app and the WiFi/Bluetooth  capability you don't have to use all of that just to see temps and the graph on the display.

Thanks! That comes closest, I think, so far anyway.
I ordered a Thermoworks Dot Bluetooth and will see how that works out before I commit to the Fireboard.
Sure is hard to figure out what the Fireboard does, just looking at the web site. But that might be my age showing.

With the Thermoworks Dot you need to use the app on your phone/tablet to see the graph of temps. If you're ok with that then the Dot should work fine for you.

Yeah, not all that happy about that part of it, but at least a Bluetooth connection will work.

I highly recommend Combustion Inc predictive thermometers.  They use a bluetooth connection and you can use an app to plot the the temperature on your phone.  You can also purchase a standalone display (digits only, no graph).

The holder/charger and display are also range extenders.  There are multiple thermometers within the probe and its diameter is smaller than the meater.

    The graph is the thing.

The Thrmoworks Dot Bluetooth with its app is fine and does the job. But there's a quirk that was initially frustrating.... when my EV's app is active, also using Bluetooth, the graph on the Thermoworks app doesn't work. The data's getting there and shows up when I set it to just show the temp, but the graph is inoperable. When I shut the EV app off, the graph immediately came up with all the history. Took a while to figure that out.
