Pizza Lesson Learned (A Small Lesson)

It's a little embarrassing to admit that I did this, but I was making some pizzas in my Roccbox today, and it started sprinkling. Not enough to be a bother so I didn't think about it. I'd left the turning peel laying on the table alongside the Roccbox and it got wet. I used the underside to turn the pizza, but it would have been better if I'd just laid it under the oven where it was dry.

Soooo, by saying "a small lesson" I take it the water on the (now-bottom) of your peel didn't crack your stone?  That's the first thing that popped into my pessimistic cranium...

Nope, didn't hurt a thing. There wasn't a whole lot of water, just enough to annoy the pizza.

Sticky, sticky, sticky ... yup, I am hyper-stressed if anything wet comes close to the underside of that pizza. In fact, when my wife rolls the dough, I'm always asking her if she put enough flour on the wood peel we use to make the pizza on, to absorb any moisture ... to the point where we get into arguments. LOL.
