Removing sap from Egg
Cstorm
Posts: 11
My egg was left uncovered last week and all the white pine in the vicinity sprinkled sap all over it. Would some type of adhesive remover like goo gone damage the egg’s finish? I might also try tecnu because that does pretty well with sap and seems less aggressive. Anyone deal with this before?
thanks!
thanks!

I’d try 91% rubbing alcohol.

Goo B Gone should do it and no, it will not hurt that fired on ceramic glaze! What will make it more difficult to clean off is firing up your egg before removing that sap! Also as long as your glaze has not "crazed" then you will never even see a hint of that pine sap!
