Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Do any of you long time F1 fans remember anybody as dominate as Max?

I wonder if teams need to wait to 2026 and the engine change to be competitive?

Below is a link to an article about which F1 teams run which engines for 2024:

There is no doubt that Verstappen is having a historic run.
Here's an article summarizing his 2023 campaign: https://racer.com/2023/11/29/how-well-did-verstappens-2023-f1-season-stack-up-against-some-past-greats/

Any guess on winner?  Luckily middle of the pack had some good racing.  Also some strange penalty decisions.

Sad the only excitement is magnussun backing up a handful of cars by 24 seconds to help the hulk secure a single point … but it was exciting to see Ferrari hang on for a rookie debut of 7th

As above-Verstappen and Red Bull look to be in the dominant position-same as last year.  But Bearman in the Ferrari finishing 7th after getting the call "you are driving" Thursday night is the real takeaway.  BTW- he's 18 yo.
On to the FORMULA 1 ROLEX AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2024 March 21-24.

Considering rules no longer allow a 17 year old to enter, that is pretty impressive and to get points in his first race!

What are your thoughts of Max going to Mercedes as Reb Bull is undergoing massive internal strife?  Self inflicted mortal wounds?

When the racing outcome is predictable… the entertainment uncertainties moves to rumours and fun stories.

Max just won 9 in a row. Mercedes hasn’t won a race in a year and looks set for more pain.

A Hr investigation that was independently conducted and concluded seems like a poor reason to move to a team where you might only win a few races in the future at the moment

@unoriginalusername captured it.  Verstappen has said his future with Red Bull is tied to Helmut Marko remaining but winning cures a whole lot of issues.
