Can’t see a draft post

I’m trying to edit a draft post to publish it when I go to my profile and try to see it I get this error 

You need the Vanilla.Discussions.Edit permission to do that

@Stormbringer - Not of any help to solve your issue but, for this reply I was able to create a draft and edit it.

Me thinks you are over thinking this! All you have to do is start your new subject and then rather than post it you need to save the draft. Then days, weeks and maybe months later sign back in and click on my drafts..edit it if need be and then post it.

That's what I did. I get the permission issue I posted about in the opening post. I just re-did the post instead.
