Extra Large BGE
We have had our Large BGE for two weeks and like it so much that we are thinking of selling it...and buying an Extra Large! I'm thinking an EL will give more flexibility for moving items off the center (hottest part) of the fire and also to allow more "breathing room" when cooking and maneuvering larger quantities. On the other hand, maybe it's harder to get and keep the temp up high on an EL? Has anyone made the "jump" from an L to EL? What are your experiences. We are only cooking for 3 people, but like to do large quantities for leftovers.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Dennis Ellis,
I guess it really depends on what type of cooks you do etc., but why not just buy a 2nd large? From my perspective - for the money you get 2 different cooking temps if you choose, save whatever lump it takes to load up the XL and you get a lot of flexibility having a 2nd cooker. Just a few thoughts. Joe

Dennis Ellis,
Do you not have a platesetter to deflect the direct heat from the fire?
