I'm confused by anything shiny. Spoons are the worst because of their concave surface, it reflects light in multiple directions. I can take it for a short while but if I was a cat I'd go crazy right away.
This is the one and only time I thought to myself ... maybe you don't really want to be a cat.

Never trust the spoons, they're sneaky little bastards.

You can trust some spoons. I have a wooden spoon which is not shiny at all. That one I trust. I have a bamboo spoon that isn't shiny either, but it makes me all giggly inside because it makes me think of pandas. All the other spoons are suspect.
