This is really an under-appreciated cook, IMO. Lotsa places make good ribs, brisket, etc., and it often tastes similar/same. But, if they can pull off great turkey... that's a win.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.

Very nice cook. I have done the turkey breast cook a number of times. I finally settled on breaking the breast down into the two sides- it seems to make the cook easier to manage and promotes even cooking. The breast I like to cook haven't been available since Covid. The last breast I cooked turned out fantastic- the 1/2 breast section weighed a bit over 7 pounds- That would have been 14 pounds for both sections- clearly a huge Turkey. These breast are special order, and the butcher says he can't get them anymore.
I think I will try cooking one breast like you cooked- It will be more readily available and I'm sure if mine turns out as good as yours did- I will be in for a great meal -
I was just thinking about this cook the other day. I've only done it once and need to do it again. This time I'll do it on my offset.L x2, M, S, Mini and a Blackstone 36. She says I have enough now....eggAddict from MN!

I love smoked turkey breast but I have a problem finding breasts that aren’t packed with solution. Makes the texture turn out weird.
