I haven't bought one yet.  Do you still use your rotisserie as much as you first bought it?  Thanks.

I still use mine.  Not as much as when I first got it, but makes a good change of pace.

Haven't found anything that is significantly better on the rotisserie than other methods.  It does make for better presentation though.

I use it with the basket a lot more than with just the spit. It is perfect for wings and does great with vegetables for sides.

I bought the BGE Version. I use it often.  I like to make Picanha on it.  Chicken and wings are good on it.  And, I have made Pork Al Pastor twice on it and that is fantastic.

But, it is a toy.  Not needed for any of those cooks, but I like having it.

Not as much as at first, but I still use mine (6 or 7 years now). Nothing better for a roast chicken (beats spatchcock by a mile IMHO), a roast beef, or a basket of wings. One recommendation: Get a plastic pan that the basket fits in nicely so you can soak it for easier cleaning afterward.

I have the Weber version for my kettle. It works well but I don't use it often. I'm thinking a pork loin roast might be a good thing to try.

Gyro cone?  Is that what they call that big hunk of spinning ground meat?

yes sir as to Ozzie_Isaac. Restaurant depot sells them. As good or better at home than buying them. Chamber seal in portions or serve to a crowd as you slice and cook.

Are you still using it?  I still haven't pulled the trigger on getting one.

Don't use my redneck rotisserie much these days, but this was a game changer for me.
Edit: wish I can do four racks at a time.

I still use my rotisserie.  I don’t use it a ton at the moment, but my cooking overall has slowed down and I have been doing a lot of quick meals.  I am still glad ai got it and wish I made more time to use it.

Just used mine on Tuesday night for wings. If you like wings, the joetisserie & basket is worth it just for that. Come out crispy and delicious every time.

Knowing what I know now I probably wouldn't have bought one. I've done no less than 4 rib roasts as well as other things. The roasts torn out beautiful but to me they're no better than the ones I do indirect. And then there's the hassle of mounting and centering it on the spit. Then you have to clean all that stuff.

I tried it for about all the standard things you could think and if they were better it wasn't that much better. It must have been some soft aluminum because I caught one of the tabs that holds the motor and shaft and it snapped right off. Seeing this thread I thought about breaking it out again with the the basket for wings, but I don't think it's worth the effort to find a fix for what broke. I did mark mine to match the width of the egg so I didn't have to guess every time. The cleaning is also annoying on the napoleon basket.
