Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

  • I did some quick pricing for the race in Vegas.  I honestly think I could fly to Europe and see a race in person there for a much better price.

Yep-the high rollers have grabbed hold and really jacked 'em up.  Miami's prices were down this year compared to last.
The inaugural deal is a large driver as you well know.
However, a paddock club access tix (number of days dependent and all I have found are 3 day deals) are pushing 5 numbers to the left of the decimal in $US for any race in NA.

The shape of some parts of that track remind me on a lesser scale of course of a professional go-kart track I rode on in AZ years ago. What I will always remember was that a buddy and I were racing and trying to straighten out some of the tight turns by going off the track into the dirt. We were nearly 40 years old and a track attendant - a young teenager - flagged us down and yelled at us us to "REFRAIN from going off the track". For years thereafter we used that word REFRAIN to warn each other about a lot of things! =)

Montreal, of all places, should not be racing in a CW direction.  Is that not a bow to the Crown?  🙂

Well- got home early last evening after a weekend travel trip.  Watched the qualifying and race today-DVR delayed (w/o assessing any sports media prior).
Too bad the wheel to wheel action isn't for the lead.  Verstappen and Red Bull have it dialed in.
The Alonso and Hamilton race was quite enjoyable.
    Back to the continent.
